Located in the heart of Douro Valley, in Santa Marta de Penaguião, Quinta da Gaivosa has 25 ha of vineyards. Using a holistic approach to making great wines by combining nature, a shared history and the personal touch of the Alves de Sousa family, who have worked on Quinta da Gaivosa wines and vineyards for 5 generations. Crafted from traditional Douro grapes including Malvasia Fina, Rabigato, and Viosinho, this 20-Year White Port shows remarkable depth from two decades in oak. Aromas of dried apricot, orange peel, roasted almond, and honey lead into a palate that is rich yet finely balanced. Caramel, toasted nuts, and marmalade unfold with gentle sweetness, lifted by lively acidity, finishing long, nutty, and elegant.
